Photo Favourites from the Ottawa IIHF 2025 World Juniors

Incredible access, incredible pressure, incredible emotion, incredible celebrations and incredible disappointment. World Juniors was one of the best photographic experiences of my life. Grateful to capture history game in and game out. Here are some of my favourites from the 9 games I got to shoot.

Carter George stood tall for Team Canada. It was an incredibly proud moment to see him in the net.

Team Czechia played the spoiler a lot in this tourney. Captain Eduard Sale was unreal under pressure.

Best thing about Team Canada celly photos are the fans in the background.

Cal Ritchie was solid all tournament.

The golden moment for Team USA. I love all the equipment flying.

Team Sweden during the record breaking Bronze medal shootout.

Anyone but London doesn’t apply when playing under the Canadian banner.

Canadian fans were amazing.

Trey Augustine was great when it really counted.

The prime minister of Latvia, possibly.

Edward Sale celebrates scoring the winning goal in the 14th round of the shootout in the Bronze medal game.

An early Team Finland goal in the Gold Medal match.

This was a tough venue to get up close and personal with the players so I liked this shot.

No matter the event, players know to celebrate in the corners.

Refs were none too popular during the quarterfinal game.

You can imagine the audio for this…

Carter and Andrew Gibson after he earned a shutout against Germany.

I spy a Trump shirt.

Best seat in the house.

Latvia celebrates.

Carter on the world stage.

Porter Martone doing Porter Martone things.

Ryan Leonard with Team USA.

Team Finland.

Heartbreak but also history that Canada will do its best not to repeat in 2025.
